He Is Risen—Hope Is Alive!

Hello Reader,

As Easter dawns, I’m reminded once again of the powerful, world-shaking truth: He is risen! Jesus conquered death, and because of that, we are never without hope. Not today. Not ever.

There’s something about this season that calls me back to the roots of my faith. I think of my grandmother and mother, faithful women who gathered week after week with their Bible study group. They didn’t have flashy programs or perfect homes. All that they had were open Bibles, open hearts, and the courage to share their hope with others. That legacy is one I carry on in my own life, and one I pray you'll consider carrying on, too.

When the tomb was found empty, everything changed. And even today, resurrection power is still at work. In our messy homes, in our uncertain futures, in our weary hearts, we can remember this: hope lives here. That’s the message we’re sharing daily on The Daily Bible Podcast. Each episode is an invitation to open God’s Word and let it shape your day, just like those faithful women shaped mine so long ago.

If you want to go even deeper, my book Praying Through the Bible in a Year was created for you. It’s filled with simple prayers, daily readings, and encouragement to help you see God’s faithfulness in every season.

And now, friend, I want to invite you to pause and pray with me. Here is a short interactive Scripture prayer to help you reflect and rejoice in our risen Savior:

🌷 Easter Scripture Prayer 🌷

Read each line slowly, and feel free to pause and speak with God as you go.

🕊 “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6 (NLT)
Jesus, thank You for keeping Your promises. You are alive—and that changes everything.

🕊 “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.” – Philippians 3:10 (NLT)
Lord, I want more than knowledge. I want You. Help me live with resurrection power today.

🕊 “Because He lives, we also will live.” – John 14:19 (NLT)
Father, I trust You with my life. Fill my heart with peace, even when I don’t understand.

🕊 “Go quickly and tell...” – Matthew 28:7 (NLT)
Jesus, give me boldness to share this hope. Who can I reach out to this week with Your love?

May this Easter fill you with deep joy, sweet peace, and a holy spark of hope that lights the way forward.

With love and celebration,
Tricia Goyer

Hello Reader, Some gifts don’t fit under the tree. They don’t come wrapped in bows or tucked inside a box. The best gifts are found in moments. This year, our family decided to give ourselves a gift that wouldn’t collect dust or be forgotten in a closet. We gifted ourselves time together. Over New Year’s, four generations of our family (from 4 months old to 80 years young!) packed up and headed to Branson Family Retreats. We needed to slow down, reconnect, and build the kind of memories that...
